"I’ve been training with Eugene for the past few months, and as someone who was completely new to the gym and strength training, I’ve genuinely grown to enjoy the process and become much more mindful of my health. Since I started, my strength, mobility, and overall physical health have improved significantly."
Viktoriya Khadjieva
"I’ve been training with Eugene for four months now and couldn’t recommend him more. He’s really knowledgeable, supportive, and knows how to push you just the right amount without it feeling overwhelming. Every session feels well-structured and tailored to my goals, and I’ve seen real progress in both strength and confidence. He also pays close attention to form, which makes a big difference. A truly professional and motivating PT, who genuinely cares about your progress!!"

Katalin Kertesz
"Training with Eugene has been such a positive experience. He really listen to my goals and create sessions that are both challenging and enjoyable. I’ve already noticed big improvements in my strength and fitness, and I always leave feeling motivated. I used to just train by myself however when he started to explain me what was I doing wrong the difference was quite noticeable. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable personal trainer."
Kate Blyfield

Eugene’s enthusiastic and personable approach makes every session enjoyable, whilst still being challenging. His in-depth knowledge and meticulous attention to proper form ensures that every exercise is executed with precision, maximizing effectiveness, while prioritizing safety and avoiding injury."
About Eugene Churkin
I'm Eugene Churkin, a personal trainer in Canary Wharf and the coach behind Colossus PT. I've trained clients across the Wharf for around 2 years, and since April 2026 I've worked exclusively from UNTIL Canary Wharf: 1 private members' club, in the heart of the financial district. The work is 1-2-1 and built entirely around you: strength, muscle, and fat loss programmed together, not chased in isolation.
Most of the people I work with are professionals from the surrounding financial district: busy, capable, and short on time, who want their training handled properly rather than left to chance. I'm originally from Ukraine and coach in 3 languages: English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Across my 2 years in the Wharf, a good number of my 1-2-1 clients have been Russian-speaking, and coaching them in their own language means the technique cues and the reasoning behind every session are never lost in translation.
I keep the offer deliberately simple: one thing, done properly. 1-2-1 coaching in the gym, built around your goals, your schedule, and the realities of a demanding job. The standard I coach to is the one I grew up with in Eastern Europe: demanding, structured, and precise, and every session is logged and tracked so decisions run on your numbers, not guesswork. Load is earned, progress follows capacity, and the plan keeps evolving so it never stops working.
How It Works
Every coaching relationship starts with an honest read of where you are today: training history, old niggles, your schedule, sleep, and how you eat. Nothing is assumed. That picture is the foundation every programming decision is built on.
Your plan is built around your body, your week, and your goals, with the right balance of strength, muscle, and conditioning work. Nutrition and lifestyle guidance is woven in from the start so the training fits your real life in the Wharf.
Strength and muscle compound when load is earned, so progress follows demonstrated capacity. The programme is reviewed and adjusted as you go, so it keeps working and stays engaging well beyond the first few weeks.

FAQ
I coach Colossus PT clients 1-2-1 at UNTIL Canary Wharf, a private members’ club at 30 South Colonnade, in the heart of the financial district. I’ve trained clients across Canary Wharf for around two years and now work exclusively from this location, so the coaching fits naturally into a working day in the Wharf.
Yes. I’m originally from Ukraine and fluent in Russian and Ukrainian as well as English, and at Colossus PT I coach a number of Russian-speaking clients in their own language. Training in your first language makes the technique cues, the reasoning behind your programme, and our progress conversations clearer and more comfortable.
Colossus PT works most often with busy professionals from in and around Canary Wharf who want their training handled properly around a demanding job. That said, the starting point is wherever you are today: whether you train regularly or are coming back after a long gap, the programme is built around you, not the other way round.
Structure and standards. Eugene combines the demanding, precise coaching culture he grew up with in Eastern Europe with modern, app-based tracking, so every session is programmed, logged, and reviewed rather than improvised. Add coaching in English, Russian, or Ukrainian, and you get training that holds a high standard and still fits a demanding life.
No, and most people aren’t. I regularly work with people returning to training after a long gap as well as regular gym-goers who want better results. Your programme is built around your current capacity and lifestyle, not against a standard you are expected to already meet. We start where you are and build from there.
For most people, two to three strength-focused sessions a week return the most for the time invested. The right number depends on your goals, schedule, and how well you recover, and we agree it early so the plan fits your real week. Consistency over weeks matters far more than any single session.
Personal training with Colossus PT costs £100 a 60-minute session in a pack of four (£400), falling to £95 a session in a pack of twelve (£1,140). 90-minute sessions start at £594 for four. Every client starts with a 30-minute consultation and fitness assessment, booked online.
